Other essential and non-essential responsibilities and projects may be assigned.Supervise and interact withchildren ages 5 - 14 years oldindividually and in a larger groupLead campers in daily activities, including sports,games, artsand crafts, and transitions from one activity to anotherParticipate in a variety of camp related activities including swimming, climbing on the climbing wall, and others to encourage camper participationEnforceallrules andpolicies of camp and the Recreation and Wellness Centerto ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all campersFoster a positive and inclusive environment by encouraging teamwork, respect, and cooperation among campersProvide guidance and support to campers, addressing any concerns or conflicts that ariseAct as a role model bydemonstratingpositive behavior, enthusiasm, and a strong work ethicRespond and provide care to injured campersas necessaryMaintain clear and open communication with camp staff, parents, and campersAttend all required trainings and meetingsComplete all necessary documentation and reportsPerform other duties as assignedMinimum Requirements:[The requirements listed below are representative of the minimum education and/or hands-on experience necessary to perform each essential responsibility.]Excellent customer service skillsStrong leadership skillsStanding or walking for at least 50% of thework dayOccasional bending, stoopingStrong interpersonal communication, time management, and conflict management skillsWillingness and ability to enforce policies and resolve conflictsAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamPreviousexperience working with children ages 5-14 years old is preferredCompletion of First Aid, CPR, and AED training, asrequiredCompetencies[The competencies listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required to perform each essential function.]Technical CompetenciesBasic computer competencyWork Environment and Physical Demands[The demands marked below are representative of those that will be required to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
