Description We are looking for a skilled Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Hauppauge, New York. This role requires an accounting expert who can oversee all facets of financial management while ensuring accuracy and compliance. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing. u2022 Prepare and maintain detailed financial records, including cash flow analysis and annual budgets. u2022 Utilize accounting software systems to streamline financial operations and reporting. u2022 Conduct monthly reconciliations for bank accounts and other financial statements. u2022 Oversee payroll processing using systems such as ADP and ensure compliance with regulations. u2022 Produce detailed financial reports and provide insights to support strategic decision-making. u2022 Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth integration of computerized accounting systems. u2022 Handle general ledger accounting functions, including journal entries and adjustments. u2022 Monitor and enhance internal financial controls to safeguard company assets. u2022 Assist with audits and ensure adherence to accounting standards. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar role. u2022 Proficiency in accounting software systems such as Great Plains (GPAC) and Microsoft Excel. u2022 Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions. u2022 Experience with payroll systems, particularly ADP, is highly preferred. u2022 Ability to prepare and analyze annual budgets and cash flow reports. u2022 Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. u2022 Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members. u2022 Understanding of accounting principles and compliance standards.
