Job Title: Fabricator Job Description Join our team to fabricate sheet metal for constructing products, which are essential for diverse applications such as battery manufacturing, ice arenas, hospital suites, and food processing facilities. Responsibilities + Fabricate parts for sheet metal equipment casings using blueprints. + Set up jobs and tooling in a manner conducive to safe and efficient operation. + Fabricate parts using a laser, shear, punch, or brake press. + Use measuring tools accurately, including angle gauges and tape measures, to interpret blueprints and dimensions. Essential Skills + Experience with fabrication of sheet metal parts using fabrication tools and equipment. + Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints. + Skilled in using press brake, brake press machines, and laser equipment. + Competence with measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Completion of shop courses or equivalent hands-on experience. + Minimum of 1 year of work experience, including proficiency with small hand tools. + Ability to routinely lift 80 pounds. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Owatonna, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.25 - $22.25/hr.
