Job Summary Manages daily operations of building management functions for assigned facilities and leased spaces. u00b7 Negotiates bids/contracts for building management services and manages vendor performance. u00b7 Develops operational and capital budgets for assigned properties and ensures budgetary compliance. u00b7 Resolves problems concerning property maintenance and security. u00b7 Coordinates moves, expansions and renovations involving assigned properties to ensure smooth transitions and to minimize inconvenience to occupants and visitors. u00b7 Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment. u00b7 Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required. u00b7 Manages staffing, performance evaluation and training activities, and assists with capacity planning for staff and contract labor. u00b7 Ensures that facilities are maintained, secured, renovated, and constructed according to departmental/organizational policies, procedures, plans and initiatives. u00b7 Assists with the development of and compliance with the departmental budgets, including capital, operating and construction budgets. u00b7 Maintains knowledge and ensures compliance of applicable statutory, regulatory and administrative requirements. u00b7 Licensed Drivers License credentialed from the Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles/required/ u00b7 3-5 years of facilities maintenance/required/ u00b7 Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience/preferred/ u00b7 Fleet Management/preferred./ We take great care of careers.
