Description We are looking for a dedicated Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Prairieville, Louisiana. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the Accounting Department by managing customer payments and performing essential clerical tasks. This position requires strong organizational skills and a detail-oriented approach to ensure the accuracy of financial records and processes. Responsibilities: u2022 Process and research customer payments to ensure accurate application to accounts. u2022 Maintain detailed records and documentation related to accounts receivable activities. u2022 Communicate with customers to resolve payment discrepancies and inquiries. u2022 Assist with billing and collections to ensure timely payments. u2022 Perform general clerical duties, including filing and data entry, to support the Accounting Department. u2022 Collaborate with team members to streamline accounts receivable processes. u2022 Generate reports and summaries for management as needed. u2022 Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all financial transactions. u2022 Provide exceptional customer service in all interactions related to payments and collections. Thank you for your interest in Robert Half Requirements u2022 High school diploma required; associate degree in a related field preferred. u2022 Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar role. u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. u2022 Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. u2022 Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. u2022 Familiarity with billing and commercial collections processes is highly desirable. u2022 Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently. u2022 Experience with financial systems or software is a plus.
