Eatonu2019s IS VEH EMB division is currently seeking a Machine Operator I - 1st Shift to join our Tualatin, OR site. The hourly rate for this position is $23.00 per hour. The core hours are Monday - Friday - 6:00am to 2:30pm. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. What youu2019ll do: The Machine Operator is responsible for monitoring, operating, and conducting basic preventative maintenance on production equipment in an electronics assembly environment. The Machine Operator may also assist with assembly processes as needed. In this function you will: u2022 Operates PCB specialty machines as well as understand the basic preventative maintenance for those machines and ability to train. u2022 Work to standard operating procedures / work instructions, bill of materials, product specific information, to complete assembly or sub-assemblies. u2022 Escalate any issues in quality or machine maintenance upon discovery. u2022 Able to work independently to standard operating procedures / work instructions, bill of materials, product specific information, and instruction from Management or Engineering to established procedures. u2022 Work closely with Engineering to assist with engineering change modification implementation. Incorporates Engineering change notices into assembly as instructed. u2022 Responsible for maintaining well organized materials storage for components, supplies and WIP assemblies u2022 Responsible for inspections of material before and after assembly using various fixtures gauges or tools. u2022 Responsible for contributing to the implementation and ongoing use of continuous improvement standards/events and 5S. u2022 Adheres to all environmental, health, safety rules and regulations, and work instructions. u2022 Fosters an environment that promotes Eatonu2019s goals, philosophies, and encourages continuous improvement through participation and teamwork. u2022 Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned Qualifications: Required (Basic) Qualifications: u2022 High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution is required u2022 Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
