You'll experience a culture where your growth and contributions truly matter.Coffman Engineers is seeking anMechanical Industrial CAD Drafter for our Spokane, Washington office, who is passionate about their craft, wants to work with a high-functioning team, and looking for an environment that promotes professional growth within existing energy markets as well as emerging markets including carbon capture utilization and storage (CCUS), hydrogen, and alternative energy. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, energetic team player with 0-3 years of experience and have a minimum of a two-year degree in Computer-Aided Design. Coffman's Spokane Office offers a small firm work environment with large firm opportunities.Experience in, or an interest in learning industrial / process piping design is desired. The position will include working with senior designers and engineers to support development of mechanical/piping drawings for various markets, including Oil and Gas, hydrogen, carbon capture, alternative energy and industrial facilities. The successful applicant will be responsible for independently completing drafting assignments with a high-level of quality and delivered on schedule.QualificationsTwo-year degree in computer-aided design.Strong working knowledge in AutoCAD.Experience in Bluebeam is a plus.Preferred knowledge of the industrial construction industry and understanding of piping mitment to producing quality work.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Experience with MS Office programs.Desire to work as a pro-active team player.Familiarity with, or experience in oil and gas, hydrogen and/or renewable natural gas industry is preferred.Salary range: $57,000-$66,000 (this is an hourly position)This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
