Our customer base is as diverse as our product line and includesfood & beverage, light manufacturing, sand & gravel, construction, aerospace, steel, medical, govt agencies, schools, hospitals, and more.,All earnings are uncapped - your income is limited only by your ability to network and prospect for new customers and to grow your existing accounts. If you can talk with everyone in maintenance, engineering, purchasing, we want to talk with youThis position reports directly to our General Manager.Achieve sales and profit goals by developing and retaining existing customers and by opening new businessConduct sales and service activities, develop strong ongoing relationships, identify product applications, and introduce new products and servicesPrepare quotations and proposals, follow up, negotiate terms, and close transactionsOrganize and conduct training sessions for customersSurvey market and competitive conditionsComplete reports regarding itineraries, expenses, sales calls, leads, and other related mattersMonitor customer complaints, follow up on outstanding orders, and make emergency calls, night calls, and deliveries as requiredQualifications1+ year outside sales experienceOR1+ yr strong power transmission or hydraulic background with sales mentalityOR 2+ yrs customer service / inside sales experience with a tangible productOR recent grad with sales mentalityAbility to develop new business, building repeat customer relationshipsMechanical aptitude, self starter with a strong desire to succeed, & sense of humorWritten and verbal communication skills including English grammarComputer skills and knowledge, including ExcelPower transmission, hydraulics, and/or bearings product experience preferredHigh school diploma or equivalentValid driver's license and satisfactory driving record (MVR)Join Applied, a global leader in industrial distribution and take your career to the next stepIn accordance with applicable wage transparency law requirements, the typical estimated total compensation for this position is $100,000-$150,000per year depending on experience.
