Overview This role is at Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, supporting Spiritu2019s Commercial Business Units (u201cSpirit Commercialu201d). Spirit Commercial designs and builds commercial aerostructures, including for Boeing Commercial Airplanes, one of Boeingu2019s three business units and the premier manufacturer of commercial jetliners for decades. Spirit Commercialu2019s core products include fuselages, pylons, nacelles and wing components, with a focus on innovative composite and aluminum manufacturing solutions. Responsibilities Position Responsibilities: To maintain, operate, repair, build and rebuild plant infrastructure and systems pertaining to it. Level B u2022 To maintain, operate, repair, build and rebuild plant infrastructure and systems pertaining to it. u2022 To assist all other crafts/trades in the maintenance and construction of plant equipment within the Spirit Wichita facility. u2022 Assist in layout, construct, install, modify, repair, and maintain all commercial and industrial plumbing systems including heating water, drainage , air, steam, paint, water, and gas. u2022 Fabricate and repair all types of hoses including vacuum, chemical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam, paint, gas (all types), and water. u2022 Ensure compliance with current specifications and regulations. Qualifications Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): + Must have 3-5 years plumbing experience. + All applicants must be willing and able to work any shift, including alternative work weeks. Majority of new hires will be hired on 2nd shift. + All Candidates must pass the WorkKeys Assessment () or provide verification that they have passed the WorkKeys Assessment. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Pay: $25.09/hour, with potential to earn up to $43.13/hour in accordance with the terms of the relevant collective bargaining agreement.
