Description OverviewThe Vendor Manager is a key member of the centralized Marketing and Brand Experience Project Management Office (PMO), responsible for coordinating and managing external agencies, freelancers, and vendor partners that support delivery across the communications and marketing function.This role centralizes vendor onboarding, contract and SOW alignment, budget tracking, performance monitoring, and process compliance across all external partners. Working closely with PMO Project Managers, Creative Studio leads, and internal stakeholders, the Vendor Manager ensures vendor-supported work is properly scoped, funded, aligned to priorities, and delivered addition to vendor coordination, this role may support delivery of select Tier 1-3 initiatives as needed, providing hands-on project management support to ensure continuity and execution.The Vendor Manager uses the project management tool (Workfront) to track vendor-supported work, maintain visibility into timelines, scopes, and budgets, and support reporting across initiatives.ResponsibilitiesVendor Coordination, Scopes & Delivery (35%)Coordinate day-to-day delivery of work with external agencies, freelancers, and vendorsEnsure vendor scopes, SOWs, and deliverables align to approved project requirementsServe as a primary point of contact for vendors on assigned initiativesEnsure vendor work is delivered on time, on scope, and in alignment with expectationsBudget & Contract Alignment (25%)Track vendor budgets, spend, and burn against approved scopes and SOWsPartner with PMO and internal stakeholders to align budgets to timelines and delivery plansSupport contract, SOW, and change management processes as scope or priorities evolveFlag budget risks, overruns, or scope changes earlyPMO, Creative Studio & Vendor Alignment (20%)Partner closely with PMO Project Managers to align vendor work to approved priorities and schedulesCoordinate with Creative Studio leads to ensure vendor output integrates with internal workflowsSupport effective handoffs between internal teams and external partnersTracking, Performance & Process Compliance (10%)Track vendor-supported work within the project management tool (Workfront), maintaining accurate statuses and documentationMonitor vendor performance against timelines, quality expectations, and process adherenceSupport dashboards and reporting related to vendor delivery and utilizationProject Management Support (10%)Provide project management support on select Tier 1-3 initiatives as neededSupport intake, scheduling, and execution to maintain continuity across PMO-managed workQualificationsBachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field4+ years of experience managing vendors, agencies, or external partners in a marketing or creative environment.
