Description We are looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team. This position offers a great opportunity to apply your expertise in HR processes, compliance, and employee relations. The ideal candidate will bring strong knowledge of California labor laws and a proactive approach to managing HR functions. Responsibilities: u2022 Oversee daily HR operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and state regulations. u2022 Manage employee onboarding processes and facilitate smooth transitions for new hires. u2022 Administer and maintain HRIS systems to ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting. u2022 Coordinate full-cycle recruiting efforts, including screening, interviewing, and hiring. u2022 Conduct background checks and verify employment eligibility. u2022 Support employee relations by addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and promoting a positive workplace culture. u2022 Provide guidance on California labor laws to ensure adherence to legal standards. u2022 Collaborate with management to implement HR strategies and initiatives. u2022 Maintain HR documentation and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information. u2022 Assist with training programs and detail-oriented development initiatives. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources or a related field. u2022 Proficiency in HRIS systems and data management. u2022 Strong knowledge of California labor laws and regulations. u2022 Proven experience in full-cycle recruiting and onboarding processes. u2022 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. u2022 Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality. u2022 Familiarity with employee relations practices and conflict resolution. u2022 Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
