Job Title: Accumulator Assembly Technician Job Description Join our team as an Accumulator Assembly Technician, where you will perform deburring, detailing, assembly, and testing of accumulators. You will assist with detailing and assembly of standard, special, and custom accumulators, and ensure quality by completing and filing inspection and test reports. Maintain all tools and assembly equipment, reporting any malfunctions, and assist with final product operations such as painting, rust prevention, packing, and crating. Responsibilities + Perform deburring, detailing, assembly, and testing of accumulators. + Assist with detailing and assembly of standard, special, and custom accumulators. + Complete and file inspection and test reports. + Maintain all tools and assembly equipment, reporting malfunctions. + Assist with final product operations, including painting, rust prevention, packing, and crating. + Work from drawings, parts lists, specifications, and instruction manuals. + Use basic shop mathematics and a variety of inspection tools and gauges. Essential Skills + Experience with assembly, hand tools, and power tools. + Mechanical assembly experience of around 1 year. + Ability to interpret blueprints and schematic drawings. + Familiarity with measuring tools and assembly line processes. + Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of pneumatics, welding, hydraulics, and electrical systems. + Experience in manufacturing environments. + Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Additional Skills & Qualifications + High School Diploma or GED equivalent. + Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds regularly. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment includes various shifts with the possibility of starting on the 3rd shift (10:30 pm - 7 am, Sunday-Friday). Orientation may occur on the 1st shift (6:30 am - 3 pm). Steel-toed boots, ear plugs, and safety goggles are required for safety. Additional full-day shifts may be required in the future for 3 to 4 Fridays of the month. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Machesney Park, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $40560.00/yr. after 3 months as a full time - they'll come in at $19.41, at 6 months they get an increase then every 6 months after that there is a % increase that depends on their performance - General Wage increaseRetirement investment account - April to December they will evaluate.
