Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor Job Description We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our machinery and equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics, as well as excellent problem-solving skills. Responsibilities + Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment. + Diagnose and repair mechanical issues, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems. + Perform emergency troubleshooting and repairs when breakdowns occur. + Replace or repair defective parts using hand tools and machinery. + Test fixed machinery to ensure proper performance. + Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. + Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area. + Document repair and maintenance work for record-keeping purposes. + Recommend improvements or modifications to enhance system performance. Essential Skills + Comfortable running independently. + Process equipment experience. + Comfortable working with chillers and boilers. + Start-up and troubleshooting experience. + Understanding of Allen Bradley PLC. + Bilingual (Spanish). Additional Skills & Qualifications + Previous experience as a maintenance mechanic or similar role. + Strong understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanics. + Familiarity with using various power and hand tools. + Ability to stand for long hours and lift heavy loads. + Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills. + Degree in engineering or manufacturing is a plus. + A valid driveru2019s license is preferred.
