Job Description u2013 Manager, Accounting & Finance Reporting (Contract-to-Hire) Position Type: Contract-to-Hire Location: Hybrid 4 Days/Week, Greenwood Village, CO Start Date: March 2 nd , 2026 Duration: Contract-to-Hire, 3 months+, Based on Performance Hourly Rate: $65-85/hour Job Summary: Our client in the entertainment sector is seeking a Manager of Accounting & Financial Reporting for a contract-to-hire role. This position supports both internal and external quarterly and annual reporting, oversees company-wide SOX coordination, and manages accounting responsibilities for designated areas of the business. The role will contribute to public reporting processes, partner on annual audit and quarterly review activity, and assist with technical accounting research. Additionally, this position will oversee select general ledger functions and participate in special projects, including corporate transactional work as needed. Key Responsibilities u2022 Assist with preparing financial statements and management reporting for public filings. u2022 Support the development of quarterly and annual SEC disclosures. u2022 Conduct research on complex accounting matters; analyze new and proposed standards from the SEC and FASB, and prepare technical memos outlining impacts to the company. u2022 Help coordinate and maintain SOX compliance efforts across the organization. u2022 Participate in special projects as assigned. u2022 Contribute to the review of quarterly earnings materials. u2022 Manage additional financial reporting deliverables as required. u2022 Oversee select general ledger responsibilities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and related SOX controls. u2022 Provide financial and analytical insights to support business decisions. Qualifications & Skills u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting. u2022 4+ years of broad accounting experience, including at least one year supporting SEC reporting for a public company (10u2011K and 10u2011Q preparation), or an equivalent combination of experience and education. u2022 Strong understanding of US GAAP. u2022 Ability to research and draft documentation for technical accounting issues. u2022 Proven capability to meet deadlines in a fastu2011paced environment. u2022 Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on collaboration. u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. u2022 Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines. Preferred Qualifications u2022 CPA certification. u2022 Experience in a top-tier public accounting firm and/or public company SEC reporting. u2022 Entertainment industry experience.
