GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF JOB: The IT Data Product Manager has a critical role in leading the Countyu2019s data strategy and managing the Countyu2019s data infrastructure. DUTIES: + Build and implement Countyu2019s enterprise data strategy. + Lead, mentor and manage data analysts and engineers. + Build and support enterprise data products based on enterprise needs. + Establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, customers, other managers, fellow workers, citizens and vendor's representatives. + Plan, coordinate, direct and review the work of staff. + Maintain and communicate with a positive demeanor and outlook. + Intellectual curiosity and the ability to question processes across functional areas. + Understand and support County Strategy (Align Arapahoe) and the Departmental strategies. REQUIREMENTS: Skills, Abilities and Competencies: + Knowledge of current industry technology, operations and practices and recommendations related to enterprise data management. + Demonstrated experience with Google GCP including Big Query, Cloud Composer, and Vertex AI. + Experience with CKAN or similar data portal toolsets. + Proficient with SQL. + Experience with Microsoft Power BI. + Experience with Open Metadata. + Experience with developing Organizational data governance. + Ability to effectively lead change and innovation. + Ability to understand and support County Strategy (Align Arapahoe) and the Departmental strategies. + Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with demonstrated ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language. + Excellent analytical, mathematical and creative problem-solving skills. + Expertise working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
