Description: Join our Aeronautics Field Sustainment (AFS) Team at Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska to provide post-delivery modification (mod and retrofit) leadership within the Modification, Upgrade and Overhaul (MUO) Value Stream Team (VST). The successful candidate will serve as a leader within the AFS MUO team and assist overseeing the global AFS Contractor Field Team (CFT) operations for F-35; domestic /international travel ~10-65%. What You Will Be Doing Responsibilities include performing and/or overseeing the following tasks: u2022 Leading Contractor Field Teams (CFT) executing modifications at U.S. and International locations u2022 Compliance with customer and company procedures relative to the MUO VST u2022 Responsible for contractual and operational performance to include safety, cost, schedule and technical performance of CFT operations. Assesses performance issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals and objectives. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. u2022 Responsible for hiring and management of CFT personnel. Coordinates talent management strategies with HR, Talent Acquisition, Workforce Planning and Training. u2022 Participates in contract negotiations and changes. u2022 Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract u2022 F-35 post-delivery modification support planning/integration and execution of the mod packages u2022 Support of Change Requests and change management correspondence u2022 Support of MUO initiatives associated with Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP), and Full Rate Production (FRP) contracts u2022 Engineering Liaison/Integration for Execution operations u2022 Primary leadership liaison with stakeholders for all post-delivery Time Compliance Technical Directive/Order (TCTD/TCTO) modifications. TCTD Kit-Proofing, Verification, and Validation integration and support and TCTO prototype execution. u2022 Customer/Team Partner Post Delivery Modification integration and support u2022 Leading the integration of LM/AFS activities into field site operations to include the identification, coordination and care of customer deliverables (facilities, base access, GFE...) and adherence to local customer policies and procedures to include, official agreements (CFT Plans / Memorandum of Agreement/Memorandum of Understanding MOA/MOU). u2022 Site specific LM/AFS performance regarding contractual performance and operational performance to include safety, quality and customer/other agency compliance. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals and objectives. u2022 Must possess at minimum an Interim Secret Security Clearance prior to starting. Must be able to obtain a Final Secret Clearance and be a United States citizen. Desired Skills: The following Desired Skills are not required but are those skills that would set a candidate apart from the others: u2022 Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college u2022 Experience utilizing System Engineering processes and procedures. u2022 Experience applying retrofit background and knowledge to optimize new systems and tools within Global Sustainment. u2022 Experience managing retrofit activities and proven management/scheduling skills. u2022 Excellent communication skills Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.
