Job SummaryThe Server is responsible for providing exceptional dining service to club members and their guests in a professional, courteous, and timely manner. Servers at the country club uphold high standards of hospitality, food presentation, and service while creating a welcoming and refined dining experience consistent with the club's traditions and values. Key Responsibilities:Greet members and guests promptly and courteously, using member names when possibleTake accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and barServe food and beverages in accordance with club standards and proper etiquetteDemonstrate thorough knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and beverage offeringsAnticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests or concernsEnsure tables are properly set, maintained, and clearedMaintain cleanliness and organization of assigned service areasAdhere to all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelinesHandle payments, member charges, and point-of-sale systems accuratelyAssist with banquets, private events, and special club functions as neededWork collaboratively with kitchen, bar, and service staff to ensure smooth operations Qualifications & Skills:Previous serving or hospitality experience preferred (country club or fine dining a plus)Strong customer service and communication skillsProfessional appearance and demeanorAbility to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of proper dining etiquette and service techniquesAbility to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysMust possess an Arizona Food Handler CardWorking Conditions:Indoor and outdoor dining environmentsExposure to hot surfaces, sharp objects, and food allergensFast-paced, guest-focused settingBenefits:Competitive hourly wage plus gratuitiesEmployee meals and uniforms
