We want your knowledge and expertise We are seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician to join our healthcare team. Your primary function is to perform routine medical laboratory tests for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease. You will be responsible for operation of the laboratory. You will work with a phenomenal team that cares like family and works together in a collaborative manner. In this role you will: u00b7 Perform technical laboratory functions including chemistry, hematology, urinalysis and immunology. u00b7 Report test results following clinic protocols alerting providers and/or nurses about abnormal results. u00b7 Ensure quality control in collecting specimens, ensure appropriate sampling and maintain accurate record keeping. u00b7 Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies. Set up, maintain, calibrate, clean, and test sterility of medical laboratory equipment. Job Requirements: u00b7High School Diploma or equivalent required u00b7Associateu2019s Degree or higher is preferred u00b7Medical laboratory experience preferred u00b7MLT, ASCP, CPT, or AMT certification required u00b7State of Florida Medical Laboratory Technician License Required u00b7US Authorization to work is a requirement.
