This role owns event production and logistics from sales handoff through closeout, serving as the primary production contact for clients, internal teams, and external partners. The Event Producer ensures events are delivered accurately, efficiently, and in line with client expectations through strong communication, organization, and on-site leadership.Core ResponsibilitiesEvent Production & LogisticsOwn assigned off-premise events from sales handoff through event closeoutServe as the primary client contact for all production-related logisticsPlan and manage production elements including floorplans, station diagrams, rental orders, production timelines, run-of-show documents, permits, COIs, and required paperworkCoordinate and attend site visits with clients, sales, and vendors as neededInternal CoordinationLead pre-production coordination with Sales, Service/Staffing, Culinary, Logistics, Warehouse, and Purchasing teamsProvide Service teams with clear production materials to support executionMaintain accurate production trackers and archive all event documentationProactively identify risks, changes, or constraints and escalate when appropriateOnsite Event ExecutionRepresent Union Square Events on-site with professionalism and confidenceOversee setup, rental execution, and strike related to production elementsLiaise with clients and internal teams to ensure events align with current or evolving plansTroubleshoot production issues calmly and efficiently in a live environmentWork independently while recognizing when to seek guidance or escalationProcess & Continuous ImprovementContribute to the development and refinement of production processes, templates, and standardsProvide solution-oriented post-event reporting to improve cross-department efficiencyMaintain strong attention to detail, quality control, and client satisfactionAssess production systems and workflows to enhance execution and collaborationRole CompetenciesStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsClear oral and written communicationSolid event production and operational expertiseFinancial awareness and cost-conscious decision-makingIntegrity, professionalism, and ethical judgmentCollaborative interpersonal effectivenessQualificationsExperience: 3+ years of live event production or event management experienceEducation: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experienceTechnical Skills:Strong project management and organizational skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office 365Familiarity with Adobe and Prismm preferredAbility to assess accuracy and completeness of workAdditional Knowledge: Catering, wine, beer, and spirits knowledge a plusLanguage: EnglishWork EnvironmentThis role requires work in active event environments, including prolonged standing, walking, bending, lifting, and navigating event venues.
