(HAES) principles, and will be comfortable working in a fast-paced behavioral health setting.Key Responsibilities:Provideindividualized nutrition assessments, counseling, and follow-up care for patients with a variety of psychiatric and substance use disorders, with a particular focus on eating disorders.Developindividualized meal plans as neededin collaboration with clinical teams, using a non-diet, HAES-informed approach.Facilitate aweekly nutrition education group, with content tailored to promote normalized eating, food flexibility, and sustainable recovery practices.Serve as theprimary liaisonbetween Compass Group dietary services andSilverHillclinical staff to ensure high-quality food service delivery that aligns with therapeutic goals and patient needs.Collaborate with physicians, nurses, social workers, and therapists to supportinterdisciplinary treatment planning.Supportpolicy development and maintenancerelated to food service operations, therapeutic diets, and nutrition standards of care.Assist with menu review, therapeutic diet accuracy, and patient-specific dietary accommodations, including allergies, religious restrictions, and eating disorder protocols.Work with adolescent and adult patients in bothacute and residential settings, adjusting approach and interventions to meet developmental and clinical municate clearly and empathetically with patients, families, and staff to ensure seamless coordination of nutrition services.Qualifications Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN)credential requiredConnecticut state license (CDN)required or eligibleMinimum of2 years of experiencein clinical nutrition, preferably in a behavioral health or eating disorder settingStrong understanding ofintuitive eating,HAES, and trauma-informed careExperience witheating disorder nutrition care, including meal planning and exposure-based workExperience leadingnutrition education groupsstrongly preferredExcellent communication, time management, and interdisciplinary collaboration skillsComfortable navigatingEMR systems, policy documents, and coordination between multiple teams (clinical and operational) Apply to Compass Group today!Click here to Learn More about the Compass StoryAssociates may be eligible foradditional paid and/or unpaid time off benefits in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.For positions in Washington State, Maryland, or to be performed Remotely, click hereor copy/paste the link below for paid time off benefits information.Group is an equal opportunity employer.
