The successful candidate will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs of Ball and SAG mills, gear boxes and agitators, centrifugal pumps, vibrating screens, process crushing and conveying Nevada Gold Mines, our vision is to be the world’s most valued gold mining business by finding, developing, and operating the best assets with the best people. Responsibilities: Reporting to the Process Maintenance Supervisor, the Process Maintenance Technician is responsible for the following: Responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs of Ball and SAG mills, gear boxes and agitators, centrifugal pumps, vibrating screens, process crushing and conveying maintenance Perform crushing and conveying maintenance on equipment including, but not limited to: cone, gyratory, and jaw crushers and several types and configurations of conveyor belting structures, both fixed and mobile Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: Excellent safety and attendance recordrequired Millwright, or similar, with welding and/or mechanical experiencerequired Housekeeping standards are maintained to a high levelrequired Willing to work in a team-based maintenance organizationrequired Demonstrated ability to be self-directed and work with minimum supervisionrequired Ability to work in adverse weather conditionsrequired Basic knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumaticsrequired Skilled in mild steel cutting and position weldingrequired Ability to lift at least fifty (50) poundsrequired Excellent verbal, written, and radio communication skillsrequired Ability to perform the essential functions of this positionrequired Experience with conveyors, chutes, crushers, rollers, pulleys, and bearingspreferred Experience with preventative maintenance and repairs of Ball and SAG mills, gear boxes and agitators, centrifugal pumps, vibrating screenspreferred Understanding of basic oil analysis, thermography and vibration analysispreferred Understanding of precision alignment techniquespreferred The ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role.
