Job Title: Restaurant General ManagerLocation: Sloatsburg, NYPosition SummaryThe Restaurant General Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of daily operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences, strong financial performance, and a positive team culture. This role provides leadership across front-of-house and back-of-house operations, drives service and quality standards, and ensures the restaurant operates efficiently, safely, and profitably.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, coach, and develop management and hourly teams to deliver outstanding hospitality and consistent service standards.Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, staffing, and shift execution.Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.Manage labor, food, and operating costs to achieve financial goals and maintain profitability.Recruit, hire, train, and retain top talent while fostering a positive and accountable work environment.Ensure compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and labor regulations.Handle guest feedback and resolve concerns promptly and professionally.Monitor inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships to ensure product quality and cost control.Analyze sales, labor, and operational reports to identify trends and implement improvements.Collaborate with ownership and leadership on budgeting, marketing initiatives, and operational strategies.QualificationsMinimum of 3-5 years of restaurant management experience, including full P&L responsibility.Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.Proven experience in high-volume, full-service restaurant environments.Solid understanding of food safety, labor laws, and operational best practices.Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.Preferred Skills & AttributesHands-on leadership style with a guest-first mindset.Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and forecasts.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.Passion for hospitality, team development, and continuous improvement.Benefits & CompensationCompetitive salary with performance-based incentivesHealth, dental, and vision benefitsPaid time off and holiday payDining and employee perksOpportunities for professional growth and advancement
