Job Description

Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer supporting an Air Force acquisition mission at Eglin AFB, FL. The candidate will apply professional electronics engineering concepts, principles, practices, standards, methods, techniques, materials, and equipment to support project development, execution, and advisory services, and resolve problems related to the design, acquisition, and sustaining of munitions items.Duties include, but not limited to:Support product design, analysis, and testing across electro-technology applications including:Analog and digital circuits and systems analysisDigital signal processing (DSP) techniques and implementationsEMI/EMC analysisPower supply evaluationRadiofrequency component analysisMicrocircuits evaluation (FPGA, microprocessors, memory circuits)Radiation hardened electronics analysis and evaluationPerform electrical/electronic/computer engineering work supporting the acquisition, development, and sustainment of weapon systems, subsystems, and/or support equipmentPlan, organize, direct, and coordinate complex projects involving electronic circuits, firmware/software, embedded processors, networks, motors, controls, power supplies, batteries, wiring/cabling, and circuit protectionSupport duties involved in research, development, testing, evaluation, operation, maintenance, and/or directing fabrication, manufacture, and installation of electronic devices or systemsCitizenship: Must be a US citizenMinimum Required QualificationsClearance: Must have and be able to maintain an Active Secret clearanceEducation: Bachelor of Science (BS) in a related discipline from an ABET-accredited UniversityYears of Experience: 5 years of relevant experiencePreferred QualificationsEducation: Masters in a related disciplineYears of Experience: 3years of relevant experienceTechnical SkillsAnalog and digital circuits and systems analysisDigital signal processing (DSP)EMI/EMCPower supply evaluationRF component analysisMicrocircuits evaluation (FPGA, microprocessors, memory circuits)Radiation hardened electronics analysisEmbedded processors, firmware/software, and networksWeapon system acquisition, development, and sustainment supportInterpersonal SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to coordinate and support complex engineering projectsAbility to apply advanced engineering concepts to acquisition and sustainment challengesAdditional InformationLocation: Eglin AFB, FLTravel: Travel may be required per the customer's discretion.Onsite#LI-SB1Odyssey Systemsis a world-class technical, engineering, and integration company serving the warfighting ecosystem with airborne integration, ISR, C2, and warfighter readiness capabilities.
