Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Palm Desert, California. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, and supporting inventory-related accounting tasks. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute their expertise in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and QuickBooks. Responsibilities: u2022 Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently. u2022 Utilize QuickBooks Enterprise or QuickBooks Desktop to maintain financial records and manage inventory-related accounting. u2022 Perform data entry tasks to ensure all financial information is accurately recorded and up to date. u2022 Handle invoice processing and billing functions, ensuring timely and error-free transactions. u2022 Collaborate with team members to address discrepancies and maintain clear communication regarding financial matters. u2022 Assist in managing inventory-related financial tasks, ensuring alignment with accounting systems. u2022 Generate reports and summaries to provide insights into financial and inventory status. u2022 Maintain organized records and documentation for auditing and compliance purposes. u2022 Adapt quickly to new processes and systems to enhance workflow efficiency. Requirements u2022 Proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise or QuickBooks Desktop is required. u2022 Strong experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. u2022 Familiarity with inventory management and related accounting processes. u2022 Skilled in using Office365 tools for communication and documentation. u2022 Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions. u2022 Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new procedures and systems. u2022 Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal. u2022 Previous experience in invoice processing, billing, and data entry.
