The incumbent will coach, lead,and manage the assigned team in meeting productivity targets andadhering to regulations and guidelines while maintaining qualityinitiatives. The incumbent will also promote and practice team culturein the achievement of production goals, objectives and provide directionand guidance to the assigned associates. The Closing Manager will serveas the subject matter expert and is responsible to maintain up-to-dateknowledge on escrow and title products and services. The incumbent willmanage a closing pipeline and follow ALTAs Best Practices whenprocessing, closing and overseeing the closing associates in efforts toprotect WACO and to ensure the companys assets are safeguarded. TheClosing Manager will also serve as a resource to REALTORS and lendersand assist in developing business within the community.We are seeking candidates who embrace diversity, equity and inclusion ina workplace where everyone feels valued and inspired.ESSSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Otherduties may be assigned.1. Manage and oversee the assigned closing associates by providingdirection, leadership, motivation, coaching and assessment to ensureoptimum team and individual performance in support of company anddepartment goals.2. Understand and monitor closing metrics to maintain successful,overall office productivity and customer pipelines.3. Manage the closing production pipelines, as well as a personalpipeline, closings and overall performance individually and of the teamfor which they supervise.4. Analyze the title insurance commitments, real estate contract,and lender requirements to determine what issues must be met beforeclosings occur.5. Facilitate escrow closings by explaining the documents tocustomers and obtaining required signatures.6. Assist in preparation of the most complex Settlement Statementsfor closings including collaboration with the lender of the ClosingDisclosure for final balancing of the file7. Plan and establish processes, policies, and procedures to managethe closing teams quality and efficient productivity. Foster teamworkand closing knowledge in all assigned branches to ensure a positivecustomer experience.8. Allocate time and resources to ensure the training of the closingteam meets industry standards. Provide associates with continuous on thejob training.9. Provide assistance and guidance to closing agents with difficultcustomer inquiries or problems. Work closely with the Closing DepartmentRegional Operations Manager, Closing Department Regional Sales Manager,and/or other departments to resolve problems, issues or customercomplaints. Forward a copy of all written complaints to the immediatesupervisor.10. Actively participate in the Closing Manager Peer Group anddemonstrate strategic internal partnerships by active participation injoint calls with other associates, including Title Department Managers,Peer Group Managers / Supervisors and other members of leadership, asappropriate.11. Serve as a subject matter expert resource to realtors,buyers/sellers, lenders, builders, and other customers regarding closingprocedures. Expand existing business relationships with currentcustomers and develop new business relationships within the industry.12. Promote WACO generally in the public, by participating,preparing, or presenting or in seminars or information presentations forREALTORS, builders, etc., and in area community programs, businessgroups and charitable organiza ions.13. Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, andthe bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. Thisincludes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhereto internal procedures and controls; report any known violations ofcompliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspiciouscustomer and/or account activity.TEAM ACCOUNTABILITIES:?
