A healthcare organization is seeking two full-time Registered Nurses (RNs) to support K-12 schools in the Sterling, Alaska area for the current school year (CSY) contract.Positions Available:Position 1: Based at an elementary school in the Central Kenai/Soldotna area.Position 2: Itinerant role covering one elementary school, three K-12 schools, and one middle school in the Homer, Alaska area.Responsibilities:Provide professional nursing care to students and staff within assigned schools.Perform health assessments, administer medications, and manage health plans.Collaborate with school personnel, parents, and healthcare providers to support student health.Respond promptly to health emergencies and maintain accurate health records.Promote wellness programs and health education initiatives tailored to the school community.Qualifications:Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.Experience in school nursing or pediatric care preferred.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Familiarity with K-12 student health requirements and protocols.Location:Sterling, Alaska, including Central Kenai/Soldotna and Homer areas.This is an excellent opportunity for RNs who are passionate about student health and want to engage in a dynamic school setting on a full-time contract basis, starting ASAP through the end of the school terested candidates are encouraged to apply promptly to be considered.
