This hands-on role is crucial in delivering clean, reliable groundwater solutions for commercial, municipal, agricultural, and industrial clients. As a Commercial Driller, you will operate heavy drilling equipment, solve unique geological challenges, and ensure all operations are completed with precision and safety. Learn more at Key Responsibilities Mobilize, set up, and operate rotary drill rigs and related support equipment.Perform drilling operations including monitoring drilling progress and adjusting techniques as stall well casings, grout annular space, and complete pump and piping installations.Conduct development and flushing of wells and perform pump testing.Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.Submit detailed well logs and documentation, including reports to Iowa DNR.Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and ensure strict adherence to safety protocols.Work collaboratively with a small crew and maintain effective communication with supervisors and clients. Qualifications Experience in water well drilling or heavy equipment operation preferred.Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills for hydraulic and rig systems.Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and perform physically demanding labor in outdoor fortable working long hours and staying out-of-town during the workweek when needed.Strong commitment to OSHA safety standards and use of PPE.Valid Driver’s License required; Class A CDL strongly preferred.Ability to adapt to changing ground conditions and problem-solve on-site.Team-oriented, dependable, and willing to learn from experienced mentors.
