Sanitation Technician (2nd Shift) Schedule: Mondayu2013Friday, 6:00 PM u2013 2:00 AM Pay Rate: $ 18.00/hour Position Summary Adecco has partnered with a client in Wallkill, NY and is hiring a sanitation technician. The Sanitation Technician is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and food-compliant production facility. This role supports daily production by ensuring all equipment, work areas, and common spaces meet company sanitation and food safety standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work effectively with minimal supervision. Qualifications + 1u20133 years of prior sanitation experience (food production preferred) + Self-starter with the ability to work independently + Strong attention to detail + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. + Works well in a team environment + Ability to follow written and verbal instructions + Comfortable working in a fast-paced production facility Primary Responsibilities Daily Sanitation & Facility Cleaning + Prepare production areas for sanitation by gathering necessary supplies + Disassemble, clean, sanitize, and reassemble production equipment + Clean and sanitize all high-traffic areas daily + Maintain sanitation of: + Spice storage room + Building B loading dock area + Red room loading area + Operate floor scrubbers throughout the facility Common Area Maintenance + Light cleaning of employee restrooms + Restock soap, paper towels, and employee PPE + Remove trash, sweep floors, and wipe down walls in common areas Documentation & Compliance + Assist with completion of temperature logs and sanitation records + Inspect all facility areas to ensure sanitation program compliance + Adhere to all company food safety and sanitation standards + Ensure safe use of chemicals and sanitation equipment Communication & Teamwork + Prioritize daily sanitation tasks to meet operational requirements + Communicate effectively with other departments + Notify management of any sanitation or safety discrepancies Work Environment + Food production facility + Exposure to cleaning chemicals and equipment + Physical activity including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Pay Details: $18.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
