Description We are looking for an Entry Level Accountant to join our team in Parsippany, New Jersey. This is a long-term contract opportunity within the insurance industry, offering valuable experience in accounts receivable, billing, and collections. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with advanced Excel functions. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage accounts receivable processes, including tracking and reconciling payments. u2022 Handle billing tasks with accuracy and ensure timely invoicing. u2022 Conduct collections activities to recover outstanding balances with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. u2022 Perform heavy data entry to maintain and update records efficiently. u2022 Transfer data between systems while ensuring accuracy and completeness. u2022 Utilize advanced Excel features such as pivot tables and V-lookups for data analysis. u2022 Provide exceptional customer service to address inquiries and concerns. u2022 Collaborate with team members to improve financial workflows and processes. Requirements u2022 Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel functions, including pivot tables and V-lookups. u2022 Experience in accounts receivable and collections processes. u2022 Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively. u2022 Prior experience with billing and data entry tasks. u2022 Ability to handle high volumes of data with precision and speed. u2022 Familiarity with transferring data between software systems. u2022 Knowledge of medical collections is a plus. u2022 Excellent organizational and time management skills.
