+ Area of Interest: Patient Services + Salary Range: $15.25 - $22.15/hr + FTE/Hours per pay period: 1.0 + Department: Fam Med- Family Care Partners + Shift: 8:30-5:30 + Job ID: 178298 Overview UnityPoint Clinic Experience Specialist/Receptionist Family Care Partners (Bettendorf) 40/hrs per week (8:30a-5:30p) - Full-time + benefits As an Experience Specialist/Receptionist, you are the first person to greet patients as they walk into our clinics. Primary duties will include checking-in patients, assisting with scheduling, answering phones, processing co-payments and follow up appointments as needed. Responsibilities + Provide a professional, welcoming first point of contact for patients and visitors, offering information on services and procedures. + Keep patients and families informed about wait times, provider availability, and any delays. + Address general inquiries and concerns with empathy, escalating complex issues as needed. + Offer guidance on charges, payment processes, and insurance procedures . + Maintain accurate and up to date patient records in the electronic medical records (EMR) system. + Answer and route incoming calls, providing basic information as appropriate. + Ensure all interactions and data handling follow confidentiality and UPH standards. Qualifications Education: + High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience: + Previous customer service experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is preferred.
