This position offers the opportunity to work closely with business owners, executives, and finance leaders, serving as a trusted advisor on complex tax matters and strategic planning initiatives.This role sits within our broader tax practice and supports clients with sophisticated needs, including multi-entity structures, growth planning, and operational decision-making.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct and oversee tax research to support client positions, address technical issues, and identify proactive planning opportunitiesPartner directly with clients and internal engagement teams to advise on a wide range of tax compliance and consulting mattersManage and review tax compliance and planning processes, ensuring accuracy, effective implementation of tax strategies, and strong client relationshipsServe as a primary point of contact for clients, developing trusted advisor relationships with business owners and leadership teamsLead, train, and mentor interns and staff, fostering professional development within a collaborative, high-performing team environmentCoordinate multiple client engagements simultaneously while maintaining quality standards and meeting critical deadlinesContribute to firm initiatives, including client development efforts, process improvements, and delivering an exceptional client experienceQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting required; Master's in Taxation preferredMinimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting and/or a public/corporate mixBig Four or large regional CPA firm experience strongly preferredActive CPA license requiredExperience serving pass-through entities and closely held businesses strongly preferredStrong technical, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex tax conceptsProven leadership and project management experience, including overseeing engagement teams and managing multiple prioritiesDemonstrated commitment to exceptional client service and long-term relationship buildingWe expect the candidate to uphold Crowe's values of Care, Trust, Courage, and Stewardship.
