This role is central to delivering innovative design-build and other alternative delivery solutions that drive excellence for our clients and strengthen the communities we serve. Supported by local and national resources, including Jacobs extensive network of technical experts, you will work with our geographical leadership to strengthen our competitive presence in Michigan and beyond and deliver quality work.The final candidate could be located near any of the following office locations including: Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Ohio, Troy, Michigan or Indianapolis, Indiana.When you join us, youu2019ll be responsible for the following:u2022 Overseeing the delivery of large-scale Design-Build and other alternative delivery transportation projects (such as CM/GC) as well as design for traditional Design-Bid-Build.u2022 Leading multidisciplinary teams in producing conceptual through final design documents.u2022 Guiding project teams through alternative delivery pursuits and pre-award design strategy.u2022 Ensuring adherence to design standards, project schedules, contract requirements, and quality control measures.u2022 Cultivating an inclusive, collaborative team culture and mentor emerging professionals.By joining our team, youu2019ll have the opportunity to utilize your transportation design and/or construction management expertise to serve as a lead on an exciting and engaging large-scale infrastructure projects.#LI-LM1236 u2022 Bacheloru2019s Degree in Civil Engineeringu2022 Registration as a Professional Engineer and the ability to obtain reciprocity in other statesu2022 Substantial years' experience on transportation projects with established local relationships in Ohio, Michigan and/or Indianau2022 Demonstrated project leadership experienceu2022 Substantial complex transportation project management experience leading roadway, highway, and/or bridge projects and/or programs in various stages of completenessu2022 Understanding of and practical experience applying the AASHTO design guidelines to transportation projectsu2022 Demonstrated communication and writing skills including technical report writingu2022 Willingness to support multi-state pursuits and delivery across alternative project delivery models.Ideally, youu2019ll also have:u2022 DBIA CertificationJacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
