As a Host Cashier at the Beach Café, you’ll be the welcoming face that sets the tone for each guest’s dining experience while ensuring accurate and efficient cash handling.What You’ll DoGuest‑Facing DutiesWelcome guests warmly and seat them using a rotation system to maximize serviceAnswer phones with professional etiquette and assist with reservationsCommunicate clearly with guests, coworkers, and supervisorsClear and reset tables quickly during peak hours—aiming for under two minutesCash Handling & POSAccurately process payments and return correct change or receiptsMaintain your assigned cash bank and complete end‑of‑shift reportsLearn and operate the POS system used by the outletWhat We’re Looking For1 year of cash‑handling experience preferredValid Health CardAbility to read, write, and speak English fluentlyComfort with basic math and using a cash registerFlexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidaysPhysical DemandsLift up to 30 lbs and push/pull up to 150 lbsStand and walk for the entire shift, including stairsWork in hot, cold, smoky, or dusty environmentsBe Part of Something LegendaryThis role is all about being the friendly face and steady hand that keeps the Beach Café humming.
