* Federal Project - Applicant must be a United States Citizen with Active Secret **DescriptionThis role is responsible for the day-to-day stability, availability, and sustainment of mission-critical systems operating within a secure SCIF environment. The position focuses on hands-on Operations & Maintenance (O&M), ensuring infrastructure reliability, rapid issue resolution, and compliance with operational baselines.ResponsibilitiesProvide Echelon 1 Operations & Maintenance support for secure mission platformsAdminister and maintain Linux systems, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Oracle LinuxSupport and operate VMware virtualization environments, including vCenter and ESXi hostsPerform hardware-level troubleshooting across servers, networking components, and storage systemsManage system baselines, execute patching cycles, and support defect identification and trackingAdminister directory services, including LDAP, within secure enterprise environmentsMonitor system health and availability using enterprise monitoring toolsSupport storage and network services such as SAN/NAS, NFS, and DNSCollaborate with engineering and security teams to ensure system stability and compliance within the SCIFRequirementsStrong experience in Linux system administration, specifically RHEL and/or Oracle LinuxHands-on experience supporting VMware infrastructure, including vCenter and ESXiExperience administering LDAP or comparable directory servicesProven ability to perform hardware troubleshooting across compute, network, and storage platformsExperience with baseline configuration management, patching, and defect tracking in operational environmentsPreferred / Additional ExperienceScripting experience using BashFamiliarity with Dell and Cisco hardware platformsExperience supporting SAN/NAS storage, NFS, and DNS servicesExposure to system monitoring tools such as NagiosWorking knowledge of Windows-based systemsSecurity & ClearanceActive TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly, required on day one
