A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at an elementary school in Estancia, NM, focusing on delivering specialized support to Pre-K students. This contract position will have a caseload of approximately 28 young learners, providing essential speech and language therapy services to support their developmental needs throughout the school year.Key Responsibilities:Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in Pre-K studentsDevelop individualized therapy plans tailored to each child's needsCollaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progressMaintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies and state regulationsParticipate in team meetings and contribute to the development of school-wide initiatives for speech and language supportQualifications:Valid New Mexico Professional Education Department (PED) certification as a Speech TherapistCurrent New Mexico licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)Experience working in school settings, preferably with early childhood populationsStrong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with students, families, and staffAbility to manage a caseload effectively while providing high-quality individualized therapySchedule and Location:Four days per week during the school yearPosition is located at an elementary school in Estancia, NMThis role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in early childhood education by supporting speech and language development in a focused and collaborative environment.
