As an DBT Therapy Intern at Sagent Behavioral Health, you will see and maintain a small caseload of individual clients, complete comprehensive diagnostic assessments, person-centered treatment plans, clinical progress notes, and utilize assessment tools and ancillary therapy notes in alignment with 245i MN state standards for documentation. You have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of clients but can specialize as well. Sagent offers group hours if needed for program requirements. Active participation and responsibility in building, growing, and maintaining caseload.Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in your community. Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals. Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings, attend weekly supervision, and trainings. Requirements: Must be pursuing a master’s degree in either social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or psychology (with the eventual license of LPCC, LICSW, LMFT, or LP).Candidatesarecompleting a formal practicum or internship through their graduate program.Experience and ability to demonstrate professionalism and integrity.Previouswork or volunteer experience related to behavioral health is preferred (common examples are Independent Living Skills, Inpatient Mental Health, Behavioral Program or Residential Experience). Compensation: This is a non-exempt position. Total earnings for this position will include a monthly stipend of $1,250. *Actual compensation may be determined by various factors such as licensure, experience, skillset, internal equity, schedule and/or location.
