TREAT PEOPLE RIGHT CARE ABOUT WHAT WE DO FOCUS ON HOW WE ACHIEVE RESULTS DO WHAT WE SAY WE WILL DO Safely and efficiently operator the Slitter in accordance with Printpack Safety and Quality standards.7pm - 7amSlitter Operator Overview but not inclusive of all expected job duties. oFollow all Printpack Safety policiesoOperate every job with a Quality mindsetoOperate lifting equipment, hoist, tilt-lock on rolls 20 to 300lbsoResponsible for neat and accurate production reports and job jackets to maintain traceability.oMaintain a clean and safe working area.oComplete housekeeping, hoist grounding & bonding inspections.oAbility to read and determine proper wind configurations per the rewind chart.Operate the slitter at or above expected production targetsoAccurately enter shift and job data into PrismoHelp identify and report all Safety issues in area -including potential risksoHelp identify and report all Quality issues in areaoAble to safely push 50lb rolls on shaft and unloading treeoTrouble shoot issues on the slitter with a high degree of successoProperly segregate and label all materialsoUse DMS boards to report out issues and escalate to managementoMust be able to operate and be certified in forklift, powered truck, and pallet jackoAbility to operate industrial floor scales.oPerform Daily housekeeping and DTM tasks to ensure success and cleanlinessoRemove and accurately weigh all wasteoStore and return all unused equipmentPress Operator Overview but not inclusive of all expected job duties. Able to mount & proof flexo printing plates at the right repeat and cylinders. oAble to mix inks to get proper print color. oRead printing specifications and check for accuracy.oMeet printing press efficiency and waste targets.oAbility to operate industrial floor scales.oKeep the hazardous waste room clean and safe. oTrouble shoot issues on the press with a high degree of successoMust be able to operate and be certified in forklift, powered truck, and pallet jackoPerform Daily housekeeping and DTM tasks to ensure success and cleanlinessoShaft and un-shaft printing cylinders.oResponsible for printing and or coating products in conformance with specifications and manufacturing instructions.Printpack is proudly an equal-opportunity employer.
