Job Title: Painter Job Description Select appropriate paint or mix paints using automated paint mixing equipment. Operate hand-held spray guns or other mechanized painting or product coating equipment. Paint small items or apply touch-ups using paint brushes. Operate and use related equipment and tools, including forklifts, hoists, slings, grinders (portable & bench), hand tools, and a tape measure. Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturers' instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, calling for repairs, and completing the daily check sheets. Read, understand, and follow job order specifications, blueprints, work instructions, and procedures. Maintain the level of work performance in accordance with company standards and job order specifications. Participate in process and product development and improvement programs, teams, and safety committees. Perform or assist in other assigned duties as qualified. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
