Description We are looking for a dedicated Purchasing Coordinator to join our team in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. In this role, you will assist with overseeing procurement activities, ensuring efficient purchasing processes that align with organizational goals. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage procurement activities, including sourcing materials and negotiating with vendors to secure favorable terms. u2022 Oversee purchasing functions to ensure timely acquisition of goods and services. u2022 Coordinate with internal departments to assess material requirements and maintain optimal inventory levels. u2022 Monitor supplier performance and address any discrepancies or issues to maintain strong relationships. u2022 Prepare and review purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. u2022 Evaluate procurement processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency. u2022 Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and vendor agreements. u2022 Ensure compliance with industry regulations and organizational standards in all purchasing activities. u2022 Collaborate with stakeholders to forecast future procurement needs and plan accordingly. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in purchasing or procurement within a manufacturing environment. u2022 Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build effective vendor relationships. u2022 Proficiency in managing procurement systems and maintaining accurate documentation. u2022 Knowledge of inventory management and supply chain principles. u2022 Excellent communication and organizational skills to coordinate with multiple departments. u2022 Ability to analyze data and make informed purchasing decisions. u2022 Familiarity with industry regulations and standards related to procurement. u2022 Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
