About the role As a Java Full Stack Engineer , you will make an impact by developing highly scalable, secure, and resilient applications that support enterpriseu2011level digital transformation initiatives. You will be a valued member of our Technology & Engineering team and work collaboratively with architects, cloud engineers, product owners, and crossu2011functional delivery teams. In this role, you will: + Design, develop, and maintain highu2011performance applications using Java , Spring Boot , and microservices architecture . + Build, integrate, and optimize RESTful APIs to support seamless communication across systems and platforms. + Develop responsive, intuitive frontu2011end interfaces using Angular and modern UI practices. + Work with Oracle databases for data modelling, query optimization, and transaction management. + Deploy and monitor applications using Microsoft Azure cloud services , ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. + Collaborate with crossu2011functional teams to deliver highu2011quality solutions aligned with engineering best practices. + Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing systems to improve performance, reliability, and user experience. Regardless of your working arrangement, we are here to support a healthy worku2011life balance through our wellbeing programs. _The working arrangements for this role are accurate as of the date of posting and may change based on project or client requirements._ What you need to have to be considered + Strong handsu2011on experience with Java , objectu2011oriented programming, multithreading, and performance tuning. + Expertise in Spring Boot , including microservices development and RESTful service creation. + Experience designing and implementing distributed microservices ecosystems . + Strong background in REST API design, documentation, and integration. + Frontu2011end development experience using Angular and componentu2011based architecture. + Proficiency with Oracle database design, PL/SQL, and data management. + Handsu2011on experience deploying and managing applications on Azure , including resource management and cloud security best practices. + Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and deliver performant, scalable solutions. This position is also eligible for Cognizantu2019s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizantu2019s applicable plans.
