Job Description Day to Day: Insight Global is looking for an Office Clerk to support a large healthcare system out of White Marsh, Maryland. This person will be supporting the revenue cycle department with on-site clerical support as needed. Primary Responsibilities: Answers telephone, screens and routes calls, takes messages, and provides information according to department procedure. Assists in the accumulation of data and the preparation of reports and correspondence. Assists in the distribution of information and processing of laboratory receipts. Completes purchase orders and miscellaneous forms; checks, proofreads, sorts, assembles and distributes materials; operates standard office equipment such as calculators, copy machines, and typewriters. Contributes to the achievement of established department goals and objectives and adheres to department policies, procedures, quality standards and safety standards. Complies with governmental and accreditation regulations. Orders and maintains office supplies. Participates in meetings and on committees and represents the department and hospital in community outreach efforts as required. Participates in multidisciplinary quality and service improvement teams. Responds to requests for information and assistance in a timely manner. Schedules appointments and meetings. Sets up and maintains departmental files and records and assists in maintaining office systems. Organizes and files information, reports, and correspondence. Sorts, prioritizes, and distributes all incoming mail. Types letters, memos, minutes, and other materials.
