Job Description

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled Accounts Payable Specialist I to join our team in Henderson, Nevada. In this role, you will oversee critical aspects of accounts payable operations, including invoice processing, vendor relationship management, and reconciliation tasks. You will play a vital role in ensuring accurate financial transactions, fostering strong vendor relationships, and supporting the overall efficiency of the accounting department. Responsibilities: u2022 Process and verify vendor invoices to ensure accuracy and proper coding to the general ledger. u2022 Manage timely payments to vendors while adhering to company policies and payment terms. u2022 Maintain and update vendor records, including tax identification details and compliance with documentation requirements. u2022 Reconcile vendor statements regularly to identify and resolve discrepancies or missed invoices. u2022 Compile necessary data for annual 1099 reporting and assist in year-end documentation. u2022 Enter invoices into NetSuite with appropriate departmental and location allocations. u2022 Investigate invoice discrepancies and coordinate directly with vendors to resolve issues. u2022 Process corporate credit card transactions, ensuring proper coding and documentation for each charge. u2022 Assist with accounts payable close tasks, including subledger reconciliations and journal entries. u2022 Respond to vendor inquiries and collaborate with internal teams to address payment-related concerns effectively. Requirements u2022 2- 3 years of experience in handling Accounts Payables and bookkeeping skills, preferably in manufacturing. u2022 Experience with GAAP Accounting and Accruals u2022 Ability to adapt to changes in workflow and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, detail-oriented work environment u2022 Proven ability to prioritize and work independently, responsibly, and meet deadlines u2022 Excellent communication (both written and verbal), interpersonal skills, and ability to interact professionally with clients and internal personnel. u2022 Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, formula creation, and pivot tables. u2022 Familiarity with NetSuite or Oracle systems. u2022 Willingness to learn and grow with the company Preferred Skills: u2022 Bachelor's degree in accounting or relevant certification. u2022 Familiarity with ERP systems and automated invoicing tools. u2022 Experience in manufacturing or similar industry, showcasing relevant skills and knowledge Robert Half is the worldu2019s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
