Superintendent I assists the project superintendent in coordinating trade contractors, maintaining high safety standards, and assisting with the quality control process.Responsibilities- Coordinate trade contractors to stay on schedule- Maintain strict accordance with the contract documents- Support all safety efforts in the field, lead safety orientations- Stay informed of all field activities- Monitor actual work to maintain compliance for the work plan- Maintain daily reports and documentation- Enforce safety and quality control policies- Attend and participates in project meetings- Establish credibility among Owners, trade contractors, unions etc. by maintaining a fair and trustworthy environmentQualificationsEXPERIENCE/EDUCATION- BS or MS degree in Engineering or Construction Management- 0-2 years experience in superintendent role on construction projects- Or equivalent combination of education and experienceKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES- Strong technical and communication skills- Excellent organizational skills- Ability to work in a team environment- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Prolog- Construction-document and drawing literate, with knowledge of all phases of construction- Experience and proficiency in all divisions of work, methods, materials, scheduling and cost control- OSHA 30 hour certifiedSalary to be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience of the applicant, as well as the internal equity and alignment with the team.For Columbus, OH this ranges from $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 plus benefits and retirement program.Next 150 Construction Services has an unwavering focus on safety, the environment and caring about everyone involved in our work.Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.Next 150 Construction Services is not accepting unsolicited resumes from third party recruiters at this time.Next 150 Construction Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
