Responsibilities This position is located in the Federal Prison Industries, Inc. (FPI) Financial Management Branch, Service Center located at the Federal Medical Center (FMC) Lexington, Kentucky. Serves as the Central Accounts Administrator and is responsible for supervising the consolidated processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions for all of UNICOR. Responsible for the timely and accurate output of all accounting data, technical assistance to field locations, and the development, implementation, and maintenance of sophisticated and complex fully-automated financial management systems for FPI. Incumbent is UNICOR's Liaison for institutions, regional offices, branches within Central Office, Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of Management and Budget (OMB), Government Accountability Office (GAO), Department of the Treasury (Treasury), and other federal agencies, private sector vendors, and external and internal auditors. Along with all other correctional institution employees, incumbent is charged with responsibility for maintaining security of the institution. The staff correctional responsibilities precede all others required by this position and is performed on a regular and recurring basis.
