Based in our Chanhassen, MN location, you will provide front line PC support for manufacturing operations in Chanhassen, MN and Eden Prairie, MN that generate over $ billion in sales each year. You will help support custom software running on > Windows PCs across various manufacturing lines and be integral to keeping our systems up and running. As a member of our Manufacturing Software and Data Support team, you will also have opportunities to grow into various technologies that span both software and hardware!In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:Responding to software, PC, or peripheral device (barcode scanners, label printers, etc.) issues in our manufacturing lines; troubleshoot and fix or escalate the issues as appropriateBuilding and maintaining collaborative relationships with our production, technician, and engineering staffCommunicating, and coordinating when necessary, floor support activities and initiatives with our team in Beijing, ChinaDocumenting production support issues and procedures as needed to reduce rework and increase the knowledge of our teamInterfacing with our local and corporate IT teams to resolve and escalate issues when appropriateHelping identify innovations that reduce the time or work associated with support tasksHelping implement large scale infrastructure projects ( migration to Windows is a recent example)Providing off-hours support as needed (infrequent)Who You Are:You effectively communicate in various settings: one-on-one, small and large groups, or among diverse styles and position levels.
