Shift 1: $18.50/Hr, 5AM - 1:30PM, 3 Months Contract to FTE ($19.22/Hr and Increment for 6 Months) Shift 2: $18.50/Hr, 4PM - 12:30AM, 3 Months Contract to FTE ($19.62/Hr and Increment for 6 Months) The Electromechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling or modifying electromechanical equipment such as switchboards and lighting panels using mechanical tools, blueprints, and production documents. This role supports manufacturing operations by ensuring assemblies meet quality, safety, and customer specifications. Responsibilities Assemble and modify switchboards, lighting panels, and subassemblies using hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools Read and interpret blueprints, bill of materials, and one-line diagrams Process, scan, and track work orders using computer systems and scanning devices Gather parts, fasten components, and perform basic cable and wire connections Verify assemblies meet specifications, tolerances, and quality standards Identify and report non-conforming parts, drawings, or assemblies Disassemble and rework units as needed Prepare finished units for shipping (packing, labeling, sealing) Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Follow all safety, quality, and operating procedures Perform additional duties as assigned by supervision Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum 6 months of assembly experience Training in mechanical or electromechanical assembly Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, blueprint reading, and basic computer skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., perform repetitive motions, and work in various physical positions Strong attention to detail, spatial reasoning, and analytical skills
