Job Description

The Technical Product Process Supervisor willbe responsible formanaging designated manufacturing processes in a fast paced, high volume, unionized, manufacturing environment. The Technical Product Process Supervisor willbe responsible forensuring conformance of processes and coordinating engineering,toolingand quality changes in their assigned area/department. The selected candidate will coordinate all safety, quality, delivery,costand morale initiatives. Provide coaching and mentoring to team members (both bargaining unit and supervisory)regardingWorld Class Manufacturing techniques for problem solving and corrective action implementation. The Technical Product Process Supervisor will interface with Corporate Engineering, Program Management, Product Engineering and Supplier Quality toassurecompliance to build requirements as well as to drive product changes necessary to improve quality. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following: Responsible for the direct supervision of bargaining unit employees Manage Process Sheets through Advanced Manufacturing Planning System (AMPS), propose modifications and guarantee process standardization across allshifts Analyze quality data, prioritize issues based on quality data and provide recommendations for improvement to theteam Manage and lead part/process changes that affect thefloor Audit and manage process parameters andidentifyoptimalstrategy based on CP-CPKresults Root cause vehicle dimensional parameter issues to improve qualitymetrics Ensure non-conforming parts areidentifiedandprocessed Collaborate with Team Leaders,Engineersand other roles in continuous improvementactivities Activelyparticipateand lead kaizen project activities centered on Safety, Cost, Quality and throughput improvements and waste reduction opportunitiesidentifiedthrough costdeployment Our Benefits - Designed with You in Mind Comprehensive Health & Well-being Coverage From your very first day, you’ll have access to medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage - ensuring you and your family stay healthy and protected.
