This position is responsible for collaborating with several IT parties to ensure functional and nonfunctional testing in several workstreams is done thoroughly to reduce likelihood of business interruptions and regulatory risks for IEHP. Provide hands-on assistance to Team Members when needed.Organize the daily efforts of Quality Engineering Team Members working on multiple applications, monitoring productivity, and providing constructive feedback and coaching. Provide technical leadership to the team related to technical problems, testing solutions, automation framework, and testing standards. Perform annual reviews and set goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with company's plans and vision.Develop QA test strategies and test plans for large/complex enhancements, make recommendations, and ensure that project risks are mitigated.Lead efforts to improve and evolve testing strategies. Work towards overall DevOps process improvement in several IT areas. Organize and improve documentation of business rules and Test management in DevOps or any other tools chosen by the organization.Work closely with Automation QA team to provide business knowledge and provide manual Regression testcases on stabilized applications to be automated.Lead the implementation of automated build test processes to ensure that the code delivered to quality assurance are of the highest quality. Streamline the automation in a CI/CD pipeline. Build hands on Automation scripts utilizing tools as needed.Work directly with business users and IT groups for requirement analysis and test planning purposes in Agile environment and identify any risks or impacts during Sprint planning/early stages of Development.Oversee and lead root-cause analysis on high priority production issues and contributes towards developing solutions.Develop Complex SQL reports as needed to investigate data-related issues.Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) with business partners, ensuring that proper UAT is performed.Work on a variety of projects involving data management, API test design and test development.Perform any other duties as required to ensure Health Plan operations and department business needs are successful.Education & RequirementEight (8) years of recent experience with test automation tools and processesExperience performing heavy data validation and ETL processes testingExperience with SQL Query Writing and ability to script automated testcasesExperience in a lead or supervisory capacity requiredPreferred: Prior development experience is plusBachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Engineering from an accredited institution requiredKey QualificationsStrong comprehensive knowledge and understanding of:Current business practices and computing systems, IT development methodologies and operationsHealth payer dataHealthcare Industry standard message EDI formats like HL7(ADT's, Orders, Charges), X12 (837/834, 270/271, 276/277), NCPDP, HIPPA, and other relevant formatsVarious types of testing, including Functional, API, Integration, Data integrity, Regression, security, Performance Testing etcMultiple automation frameworks and ability to learn new ones quicklyAgile and DevOps processesProcess improvement methodologies such as LEAN or other comparable methodologiesExcellent communication skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong logical reasoning skills and business intelligenceAbility to perform API testing using Ready API/SoapUI/Postman and automation of APIsExcellent organizational skillsProblem-solving skills, creativity, and critical thinkingExcellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to present to senior managementAbility to work in a collaborative and inclusive environment with the willingness to listen to alternative points of viewCreative thinking to optimize test approach and efficiencyEmpathy for how users interact with productsAbility to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly languageAbility to identify and resolve conflicts among Team MembersAbility to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environmentFlexible attitude and can adapt to a fast-changing environmentStart your journey towards a thriving future with IEHP and applyTODAY!This position is on a hybrid work schedule.
