Job Description

The Global Behavioral Threat Program Lead will direct Accentureu2019s enterprise-wide efforts to prevent workplace violence through expert threat assessment, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic program management. This role requires a seasoned professional who can lead a distributed team of behavioral threat specialists while partnering with HR, Legal, Security, and business leadership to ensure a safe work environment for all employees. Key Responsibilities: + Evaluate and help refine behavioral threat assessment protocols, workplace violence prevention strategies, as well as standardized processes for threat identification, assessment, management, and resolution that comply with local, national, and international legal frameworks. + Lead the evolution of the program through continuous improvement initiatives, incorporating lessons learned, industry best practices, and emerging threat intelligence. + Build reporting mechanisms that communicate trending concerns. + Collaborate with Physical Security, Corporate Security, and Facilities teams to coordinate protective measures and emergency response planning + Work with Legal and Compliance teams to ensure all threat assessment activities adhere to privacy laws, employment regulations, and duty-of-care obligations + Engage with Employee Assistance Programs, wellness resources, and external mental health providers to facilitate appropriate support and intervention. + Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team members to maintain expertise in threat assessment methodologies and mitigation. + Establish performance metrics and conduct regular evaluations to ensure team effectiveness and appropriate global standardization. + Foster a collaborative team culture that promotes information sharing, peer consultation, and collective problem-solving. + Oversee the assessment of concerning behaviors, communications, and situations that may indicate potential for workplace violence. + Ensure timely, thorough investigations of reported threats using evidence-based threat assessment frameworks. + Coordinate multidisciplinary threat management teams to develop and implement intervention strategies and safety plans. + Maintain oversight of high-risk cases, providing direct consultation and decision-making support for complex situations. Basic Qualifications: + Minimum 8 years of experience in behavioral threat assessment or workplace violence prevention + Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership role Preferred Qualifications: + Bacheloru2019s degree, preferably in psychology, criminal justice, or a related field + Demonstrated experience managing global or multi-site teams in complex organizational environments + Deep knowledge of evidence-based threat assessment methodologies and violence risk assessment frameworks + Strong understanding of behavioral indicators, warning signs, and pathways to violence in workplace settings + Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements related to workplace safety, privacy, and duty of care across multiple jurisdictions + Experience conducting or overseeing complex investigations involving sensitive personnel matters + Exceptional judgment and decision-making abilities, particularly in high-stakes situations with incomplete information + Outstanding communication skills with ability to convey complex behavioral concepts to diverse audiences including executives + Strong emotional intelligence and ability to remain calm, objective, and solution-focused during crises + Proven ability to build consensus among stakeholders with competing priorities and perspectives + Experience creating metrics and analytics to demonstrate program value and inform organizational decision-making + Understanding of how threat assessment integrates with broader enterprise risk management and business continuity planning + Board certification or professional credentials in threat assessment (e.g., ATAP membership, WAVR-21 certification) + Experience in law enforcement, intelligence analysis, or security operations + Familiarity with clinical psychology, forensic psychology, or psychiatry + Previous experience in Fortune 500 or global enterprise environments Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
