PROS Smart Price Management Techno-Functional / Process Consultant (Salesforce Environment) About the role As a PROS Smart Price Management Techno-Functional / Process Consultant , you will make an impact by supporting the design and delivery of enterprise price management capabilities for a long-term SI client engagement . You will be a valued member of the Pricing Transformation team and work collaboratively with Pricing, Sales Operations, Finance, and IT stakeholders . In this role, you will: + Lead discovery and process design for key pricing functions, including price governance, approvals, exception handling, and operational runbooks. + Translate pricing requirements into clear functional specifications and user stories covering price lists, attributes/dimensions, rules, workflows, and audit needs. + Configure and support PROS Smart Price Management features such as centralized price list administration, dimension management, lookups, and real-time pricing methods. + Partner with technical teams to define integration and data needs for inbound pricing inputs and outbound price publishing across Salesforce and other channels. + Coordinate SIT and UAT cycles, including test data preparation, price calculation validation, and reconciliation of pricing outcomes across channels. What you need to have to be considered + 3+ years of experience in pricing, revenue management, or price management implementations (consulting/SI experience preferred). + Hands-on experience with price list management concepts across channels, regions, and customer segments, including governance and approvals. + Strong functional and data skills: requirements elicitation, process mapping, data definitions, validation/reconciliation; proficiency with advanced Excel and/or SQL. + Working knowledge of real-time pricing delivery needs and integration fundamentals, including APIs, batch vs. real-time, and data mapping. + Ability to lead workshops, manage stakeholders, and communicate effectively with both business and technical audiences. These will help you stand out + Direct experience with PROS Smart Price Management or PROS Smart Price Optimization & Management (Smart POM). + Experience supporting omnichannel price execution (direct sales, partners, eCommerce) and managing large-scale price lists. + Experience working within a Salesforce CRM environment, including integration touchpoints and sales user experience considerations. + Familiarity with pricing analytics and methodologies such as price corridor/waterfall, discount/rebate impact analysis, and governance KPIs. + Exposure to AI-driven or algorithm-based pricing strategies. Salary and Other Compensation The annual salary for this position is between $100,000p.a u2013 $140,000 p.a depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizantu2019s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of applicable plans.
